JACKIE MOONSHINE (Stoner Rock - NO)
The hard rocking, soulful straight swinging trio that became the band Jackie Moonshine, got together under arbitrary circumstances beneath the arctic midnight sun of Tromsø the summer of 2006. The decision was soon made to pursue their common musical interests, forming a band that would sound as great as the eminent rock gods that had inspired them. What would come out of the following process was intense rehearsals and spending most of their time away from the public the next two years, as the members finely tuned what the band would later define as; Psychedelic Power Blues.
DJ ARTHUR CENTURY (50 years of Rock'n'Roll)
DJ Arthur Century (A.K.A. Kevin Mooney) is a veteran of the 1976 Anarchy in the UK Punk Rock era and its aftermath. A confirmed McLarenite, who saw active service as bass guitarist in the notorious Wild Frontier regiment of the band.
Adam and the Ants until being busted from the ranks for many and varied acts of insubordination. A Rock career followed in which he managed to burn most all of his bridges and with great determination cajole and insult the bosses of just about every major record division then in existence.
It has ever been his intention to get all the Rockers together in one place and by means of loud music overthrow Society:
The music of an Arthur Century DJ set will range across some five decades of Rock action, from the primitive neanderthal screamers of the early days right up to the very most modern Rock tunes.
Expect to hear Punk Rock, Hard Rock Indie Rock Biker Rock Heavy Metal Glam Rock Trash Rockers and all kinds of Hardcore Rock sounds from across the spectrum. and there sometimes might be a bit of Electro-Rock just for fun, especially the kind with distorted guitars.
