"The Greenbaums" is an independent Blues-Rock band from Tel Aviv, Israel. Their music is a powerful foot-stomping combination of Delta Blues, vintage sound and today's alternative rock music. All songs are original.
The group consits of five well experienced musicians, all with ample experience playing in different rock/folk/indie bands a with lots of shows, international tours and recording sessions in our resumes. The group is based on two guitars, drums, bass and harmonica with lead an back-up vocals - all lyrics in English.
During the last years The Greenbaums 've created a solid fan base and recognition in Israel through playing numerous shows around the country and organizing an outdoor blues festival named "Greenfest" with some of the biggest names in the Israeli rock scene such as Uzi Remirez "Tree" and "Boom Pam".
In addition The Greenbaums was chosen to perform in the opening events of the new "Vans" skate park being built all across Israel.
Simultaneously, they've recorded their debut album "The Greenbaums" (released March 2011 through "High Fidelity), which was enthusiastically received by some of Israel's leading radio broadcasters, such as Quami (Galgalatz), Eran Sebbag (Galey-Zahal) and Leon Feldmann (106FM).
In June 2011 The Greenbaums toured Germany, playing shows in different clubs and music festivals. Through these shows, as well as their daily street performances, they managed to build a strong fan base within the German blues and rock scene. The Greenbaums were also hosted by two German radio stations based in Berlin: "Multi-Culti" and "PI Radio".
