live: DENISE (Folk-pop/Rock - IT)

DENISE IN WONDERLAND... As a child, Denise loved to sing in her bedroom. The bed was her stage and her dolls were the audience that she used to hug as soon as the concert ended.
In 2005 Denise, nineteen years old, starts writing songs using toys as instruments and recording tracks at home. She has a remarkable very soft voice, almost childish, expressed by fragile innocent lullabies and soft pop. Strings and silky toy guitars, genuine percussions and a phantasmagoria of little organs and bells.
In 2005 she works on her first demo Anesthetic wave project followed by Candy Floss in 2006 and Twee in 2007.
In 2009 she releases her first official EP Carol of Wonders Ep (Memory Men - Venus), a box full of stardust with an orchestra of toy instruments, bunnies wearing funny hats, gentle guitar riffs and bells.
In May 2010 she starts a collaboration with al-kemi Records (a label of Ala Bianca Group), and in June of the same year she starts recording her new songs produced by Gianni Maroccolo (Litfiba, CSI, PGR, Marlene Kuntz ...) and Lorenzo "Moka" Tommasini (Hector Zazou, Sarah-Jane Morris, Stewart Copeland ...).
Meanwhile, Denise opens Sara Lov concerts in Rome and Naples and Kings Of Convenience performances in Urbino. She also plays at CATERRADUNO in Senigallia where she sings accompanied on the piano by Stefano Bollani.
On October 26, al-kemi Records (Warner Distribution) releases Dodo do! Denise’s first album launched by the single Burning Flames that enters the italian Top 100 Radio Airplay Charts.
Dodo, do! includes 12 tracks. Gentle guitar arpeggios tell a fable of characters, real or
invented stories which accompany Denise on her search of the Dodo. A quest that brings her back on the right path to survive in stories and memories.
