In a quarter-life crisis, Eric Eckhart left America, his corporate job, possessions, family and friends and moved to Europe to go after his dream and reconnect with his lifelong passion for music.

His new album, ‘This Is Where It Starts’, was recorded in Berlin in what was former East Germany’s main radio station. Eric’s music continues to branch out while feeding off his West Virginia roots by blending Americana/Pop with Indie/Rock, all with classic songwriting sensibilities at its heart.

A natural performer, Eric has headlined shows for over 25 years in America, Ireland and Germany and played support for great artists such as Broken Social Scene, Ocean Colour Scene, Fionn Regan, Tiny Vipers, Simple Kid, Richard Swift and Jeffery Lewis.
