Live: THE SCREENING (Indie/UK)
Diem is the blistering new single from dynamic Leicester based four piece, The Screening. An energetic slice of driven indie pop rock, full of raw power and youth and complete with a rousing and anthemic chorus;
Diem is the perfect introduction for those yet to experience the bands fresh and unique take on modern day rock 'n' roll.
Following their departure from LA based label, Intravenous Records, the band have returned to the UK to tour and continue building their ever growing fanbase who eagerly anticipate this forthcoming release.
Having already attracted a wealth of media attention and support from the likes of Steve Lamacq and the NME who remarked that 'In a visceral wave of cut throat guitar riffs and punchy choruses, the band echo Ash before they discovered tattoos and Suede before they got shit. There's spirit in abundance and some top tunes to boot', The Screening are ready to return and launch this new single with an invigorating and added sense of gusto.
Following in the steps of past single 'Fall To Pieces' which featured in the preview for Jean Claude Van Damme film, 'The Shepherd', 'Diem' currently features in the trailer for the new Hilary Duff and Steve Coogan film 'What Goes Up'.
