live: ORANZADA (Psych/Rock - PL)

Im Juni wurde unsere neue Single veröffentlicht und im Oktober wird endlich das dritte Album „Samsara“
von Oranzada aus Otwock (bei Warschau) veröffentlicht.
Während unserer Konzerte in diesen präsentieren wir vor allem Material von diesem dritten Album. Die
wichtigste Veränderung für Oranzada ist unser neuer Mann, Maciek Łabudzki (ex- Żywiołak) der
verschiedene Perkussion spielt, Kongas und „Hirten-Instrumenten“ aber auch die Keyboards bedient und
seltsame Loops und Samples erzeugt. Macieks Einfluss ist deutlich zu hören auf dem neuen Album und hat
der Band eine neue Dimension erschlossen.
„Samsara“ unterscheidet sich von den vorhergehenden Alben. Die Musik ist durchdachter und vielleicht
reifer – ohne die Freiheit einzubüßen, die sie immer für uns hatte. Oranzada sind ein Live-Band hat in den
letzten Jahren in ganz Polen gespielt und gelegentlich auch im Ausland. Die Erfahrung des Live-Spielens für
ein oft junges Publikum findet sich auch in der Ästhetik des neuen Albums. Auf der anderen Seite werden
auch die Leute, die uns bislang nur wegen unserer Alben schätzen, ähnliche Zutaten finden und mögen,
nämlich die psychedelischen Sounds und Arrangements.

In June, the single track “Przecież to masz” [“But you have it”] was released on a demo CD and October
will finally see the third album by Oranzada from Otwock (near Warsaw) with the title “Samsara”.
Most material of our current concerts contain material from this third album which we are now presenting.
The most significant change for Oranzada was our new man, Maciek Łabudzki (ex- Żywiołak) playing on all
kinds of percussions, “shepherd instruments”, congas, but also operating keyboards and the sampling
machine. Maciek also had some impact on the new album’s sound, as the music entered … well, a new
dimension!
The third album “Samsara” is completely different from our previous ones. The music is more thought-over
and maybe more mature – without loosing its soul of artistic freedom, which it always had for us. Oranzada
is a very busy live band and so this album somehow reflects this experience but also the aesthetics and
sounds which our comparatively young concert audience in Poland appreciated. On the other hand we
believe that the more mature audience who appreciated our previous records will still find what they liked
about us namely the psychedelic and crazy sounds, composition, artistry, and arrangement.
